At White Point Beach Resort, business and pleasure mix naturally

Located in the heart of “Canada’s Ocean Playground”, White Point Beach Resort offers a one-of-a-kind hospitality experience as one of the top destinations of choice in the Atlantic Provinces. There’s a good reason for that.

“We mix business with pleasure deliberately,” says Anne Stevens, the property’s Director of Sales. “We are a year-round destination, hosting meetings from eight to 200. But we also specifically cater to delegates’ families, who come along to experience White Point while they work.”

As it happens, there’s a lot to experience. The graceful resort on Nova Scotia’s south shore, originally built in 1928, features a new main lodge, and beautifully appointed quarters and cottages. Wherever guests are on the site, they are surrounded by the sound of the pounding ocean surf. Family entertainment is boundless: a “kids’ zone”, a games room, arts and crafts, face painting, “beach breaks”, marshmallow roasts, and live entertainment.

“Our guests may partake in the solitude of a beach walk, a paddle on the lake in one of our kayaks, a swim in the surf of the Atlantic Ocean or one of our pools, followed by a relaxing massage from Dorothea at the spa,” Stevens says. “We offer wine tastings, educational talks and classes or for some, a game of chess or a good book by a crackling fire.”

The resort can accommodate events of all shapes and sizes. In addition to more than 6,800 square-feet of meeting space inside, there’s also 800 acres outside along the oceanfront, lakeside and golf course. Meanwhile, the “Unique Venue Options” include a breakout, yoga or BBQ on the oceanfront and lakeside lawns.

The combination of work and play is unbeatable to the thousands who continue to patronize the facility year after year. “Our guests are from around the world.” Stevens says. “Our entire team’s commitment to personalized customer service, Maritime Hospitality and unique experiences ensures that our guests look forward to returning to us again soon.” •
